I’m teaching three courses this semester:
1) Get Yourself Published - A two-and-a-half hour discussion on log-lines, marketing yourself, pitching, etc. 1/11/2012 (tomorrow) from 7PM-9:30PM. $65 for Arlington residents, $79 for non-residents. I’m kind of excited about this class again because I have some new pitches to share, both winning and losing pitches.
2) A Writer’s Workshop - An eight-week workshop for people who are actively writing just about anything. The class meets on Wednesdays from 7PM-9PM starting 1/18/2012 and ending 3/7/2012. This is my standard course that I do 3 times a year. $125 for Arlington residents, $150 for non-residents.
3) Write Right Now - My new course. I did a trial run off-catalog last semester for my regular students (and Tumblr user jasencomstock!) and I think it was a success. Bring nothing with you but a pen and paper, the entire class is writing prompts and exercises designed to teach you how to write everyday, even if you only have ten-minutes to spare. The class meets on Wednesdays from 7PM-9PM starting 3/21/2012 and ending 4/11/2012. $65 for Arlington residents, $75 for non-residents.
