Remember when Tom Brady was injured and Matt Cassel ended up leading the Patriots to an 11-5 record but they didn’t make the playoffs because Brett Favre threw for 3 interceptions in the Jets’ Week 17 loss to Miami (Favre ruins EVERYTHING for EVERYONE, not just the team he plays on) and the Patriots “franchised” Matt Cassel and everyone was saying, “Oh, they’ll trade Tom Brady for sure,” and then the Patriots traded Matt Cassel and the “franchising” was a clever ploy to increase Cassel’s stock and Tom Brady continued to be one of the Best Quarterbacks Who Ever Lived and I am saying this as a Jet fan who is enraged that two times a year we need to play one of the Best Quarterbacks Who Ever Lived?
