There’s a panel from Nocenti’s Daredevil that is etched in my memory. It’s a tall panel with Daredevil punching somebody (is it Gorgon? It’s from the issue where he fights Gorgon.) and it’s the weirdest/coolest pose, like he’s about to bop the person, but it’s frozen right before he rabbit-punches them. So weird.
Reblogging for the JRJR art and because it’s Daredevil. I would like to add, however, that I always found Nocenti and JRJR’s Typhoid Mary to be cooler than Elektra. Granted, I am a tremendous contrarian, and right now every comic fan who reads this blog is cursing at me, but there it is.
The only truly interesting thing about Elektra is that she died. And then they brought her back so…who cares?
